Let me share with you the places of interest I so much enjoyed. Many of them are what I showed to my guests while working as an English-speaking tour guide with national license. Also try my former site (http://blog.goo.ne.jp/jasmine-rosemary) or find me on facebook (jasmine nakai).

Observation deck at the summit of Mt. MISEN
The summit of Mt. MISEN is crowded with happy travelers both from Japan and overseas. So popular and people are now spending more time in the island of Miyajima. The hiking is fun and easy enough.

Artwork for the third international art festival
Naoshima snaps
Photos from this spring in naoshima
Naoshima' slag art
Try making your own pumpkin from the slag made by the industrial waste in Teshima. Teshima suffered tremendously by illegal dumping and burning of industrial waste conducted by a very bad man and his company allowed to operate in Teshima by the authority. Still the industrial waste remains in Teshima and the treatment of the waste will continue at least for a few more years.
Naoshima' new addition
Naoshima Town Hall is now complete. Designed by SANBUICHI Hiroshi. He analyzes the local way of life and tries to know how the houses were built considering the natural elements like light, wind, and air flow. He is the one who did the Inujima Seirensho.
